 Britt Carter & Company is currently seeking talented, visionary, Sales/Designers for full time employment. Our 2500 square foot showroom features some of the most exclusive lines of furniture, accessories, wall coverings, and floor coverings available. Our design center is fully equipped with everything you would need to develop your talent while assisting clients in beautifying their home or office.
Experience:
Experience in residential interior design, commission sales or both will be most helpful.
Experience with computers will also be necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting clients on the sales floor, answering phones and addressing questions of customers
- Current product knowledge of both showroom merchandise and merchandise available through manufactures catalogs.
- Client in-store consulting: selection of specific needs of client, clear communication of design suggestions, and follow-up on further information.
- Client in-home consulting: provide design for client's desired room, taking all measurements and develop floor plan to scale on computer CAD, specifying all fabrics, frames, floor and wall coverings, and window treatments.
- Provide clients with accurate pricing that's reflects custom options and current showroom promotions.
- Follow-up on written sales with clients and manufactures.
